Dear Friends,

Thanks to your support, we’ve achieved a historic victory. I am honored to have been elected to represent District 65 in the New York State Assembly.

Our overwhelming victory is a direct reflection of the community support and broad coalition-building we achieved with our people-driven campaign over the last year. We ran on a positive message, centered around the issues most important to the people of our district and the work we have done together for this community.

I’m deeply grateful to every person and organization that endorsed our campaign, donated, or volunteered to knock on doors, make calls, put up posters, and helped spread the word about my candidacy to friends, family, and neighbors. None of this would be possible without you.

Now, the hard work begins. There is a very real sense of instability right now. Even in a state like ours, we are just barely hanging on. Our communities in Lower Manhattan are facing many serious issues from public safety and the rise of anti-Asian hate, to a housing crisis and environmental threats to our neighborhoods. Addressing these issues is a responsibility I will take on with a clarity and sense of purpose that meets the moment.

I believe in our collective power and I have never had more confidence in what we can accomplish together.

Let’s get to work,

Grace
